Eye of a Hurricane

This piece was my take on the warped sense of time and reality that I endured during the pandemic. I think I’ll never forget how time seemed to be like an endless spiral the way days blended into weeks and months. The anxiety of having an uncontrollable catastrophe unfolding outside while being barely able to do anything about it besides wait made that wait so much harder, and so much longer.
